Tender carrots coated in a rich buttery honey glaze make this simple side dish warm, colorful, and perfect for family dinners or holidays.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds carrots, peeled and sliced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons honey
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
Place carrots into a Simmer Down Cookware Dutch oven with enough water to barely cover.
Bring to a boil and cook until tender. Drain most of the water.
Add butter and honey and stir over medium heat until the carrots become glossy and lightly glazed.
Season with salt and pepper.
Serve warm.
