Rosemary Sea Salt Focaccia

Crisp on the outside and soft and airy inside, this rustic focaccia is filled with olive oil, sea salt, and fresh herbs for incredible flavor and texture.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 3/4 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil, plus more for drizzling
  • Fresh rosemary
  • Flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, yeast, warm water, and olive oil.
  2. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Cover and allow to rise for 1–2 hours, or until doubled in size.
  4. Generously oil a Simmer Down Cookware Cream White Dutch oven.
  5. Transfer dough into the Dutch oven and gently stretch to fit.
  6. Cover and allow to rise another 30 minutes.
  7. Using your fingertips, dimple the surface of the dough. Drizzle lightly with olive oil and top with fresh rosemary and flaky sea salt.
  8. Bake uncovered at 425°F for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp on top.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.
