Ingredients
- 1 loaf day-old bread, cubed
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 celery stalks, diced
- 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: 1/2 cup toasted breadcrumbs for extra crisp texture
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Melt butter in a Simmer Down Cookware Dutch oven over medium heat.
- Cook onion and celery until softened and fragrant.
- Stir in bread cubes, poultry seasoning, thyme, sage, garlic powder, and parsley.
- Pour in chicken broth gradually until the stuffing is moist but not soggy.

- If desired, sprinkle toasted breadcrumbs over the top for extra texture.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove lid and bake another 10–15 minutes until golden and lightly crisp on top.
