Buttery Herb Rice Pilaf

Light, buttery rice simmered with onions and broth creates a versatile side dish that pairs beautifully with chicken, shrimp, and hearty meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Melt butter in a Simmer Down Cookware Dutch oven.

Cook onion until softened.

Add rice and stir until lightly toasted.

Pour in chicken broth.

Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce heat to low.

Cook for 18–20 minutes until tender.
