Creamy chowder filled with shrimp, potatoes, corn, and rich savory broth makes this Dutch oven recipe warm, hearty, and comforting.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 potatoes, cubed
- 3 cups seafood or chicken broth
- 1 cup corn
- 1 pound Mexican Wild caught shrimp peeled & deveined - no tail
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Melt butter in a Simmer Down Cookware Dutch oven.
Cook onion until softened.
Add potatoes and broth and simmer until potatoes are tender.
Stir in corn and seafood and cook until seafood is just cooked through.
Pour in cream and simmer gently for several minutes.
Season and serve hot.
