Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat
- 1/2 cup crushed bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp. minced onion
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp. minced parsley
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 minced garlic clove or garlic powder
Mustard Dipping Sauce
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. white sugar
- 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1 tbsp. butter

- In a large bowl, combine the hamburger meat, bread crumbs, minced onion, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, salt, and garlic.
- Add the milk last and mix until fully combined.
- Roll the mixture into small, medium, or large meatballs.
- Heat a small amount of oil in a Simmer Down Cookware Dutch oven over medium heat.
- Working in batches if needed, brown the meatballs on all sides until cooked through.
- Reduce heat to low and keep warm while preparing the sauce.
Mustard Dipping Sauce
- In a saucepan, combine the egg, brown sugar, white sugar, Dijon mustard, vinegar, and butter.
- Slowly bring the mixture to a gentle boil while stirring continuously.
- Cook until the sauce thickens.
- Pour the warm sauce over the meatballs and serve directly from the Dutch oven.
